The Academic Quad
Status: Construction
Infrastructure enhancement with steam pipe replacement for improved campus heating and ventilation.
Baldwin/Cummings Housing
Status: Construction
188 student living spaces after complete renovation.
Calvin and Tina Tyler Hall
Status: Completed in 2021
141,675 sq. ft. modern facility, houses student services and administrative functions.
Center for the Built Environment & Infrastructure Studies (CBEIS)
Status: Completed in 2013
$60 million, 126,000 sq. ft., houses architecture and engineering programs.
Health and Human Services Building
Status: Construction
208,000 sq. ft., houses health and social sciences programs.
Hurt Gymnasium
Status: Construction
Complete internal renovation, including air conditioning, new amenities, and expanded spaces.
Martin D. Jenkins Hall/Behavioral Social Science Center (BSSC)
Status: Completed in 2017
$79 million, 148,000 sq. ft., houses social sciences departments.
Morgan Business Center
Status: Completed in 2015
$72 million, 135,000 sq. ft., houses School of Business.
MSU Police and Public Safety Building
Status: Completed in 2023
A modern facility near West Campus, home to the Public Safety Department and MSU Police.
Thurgood Marshall Dining Hall
Status: Completed in 2023
State-of-the-art dining hall part of a $45 million agreement with SodexoMagic.
Thurgood Marshall Residence Hall (Tower I)
Status: Completed in 2022
670 beds in modern housing, offers various amenities.
Thurgood Marshall Residence Hall (Tower II)
Status: Construction
Adds 604 student beds with modern amenities.
Washington Service Center and New Science Center
Status: Demolition
New 260,000-square-foot science center with advanced research facilities.
West Campus
Status: Construction
Rebuilding parking facilities and enhancing safety.
