The university is rolling out a new system that will give every student a new kind of digital transcript that will include things like what courses they’ve taken and involvement in community programs.
Classroom Stressors Reduced as Students and Professors Turn to Tai Chi
In a move toward centering its students' mental health and holistic approaches to teaching, Morgan State University’s World Religions, Global Cities class, led by Dr. Harold D. Morales, starts off some of its instruction with music and Tai Chi Chuan exercises. Morgan's Religion and Cities Community Engagement Fellow and alumnus, Stanley Jenkins, has been leading the exercises with students before engaging in discussions about the definitions and complex relationships between religion and cities.
